COFFEE APP
The best coffee & cafe tracker
Everyone has a preference in terms of which coffee they like, and enjoying it is like a ritual (espresso, two sugars, stirred slowly, let it cool...). Locating that perfect combination of cafe and coffee is a process full of expectations and frustrations.
SKETCHES, TESTING AND PROTOTYPE
Defining the product
Based on the user flows and the feature prioritisation, I started some sketches and tested with potential users. More interactions were made and a high fidelity prototype was created using Sketch and Marvel
USER FLOWS AND FEATURES PRIORITISATION
Features
Sign in / Sign up
Most users are comfortable proving personal details to the app. A profile with further details has been included - this improves the credibility of the reviews
Filter
A filter with more feature has been included (e.g. brew methods, bean types, services) to improve the user journey and experience
Review / Rate
The rate and review features give greater credibility to the information provided. Two further options, 'check-in' and 'add-to-favourite', have been included to add more value
INSIGHTS AND LEARNINGS
Based on the interviews and the affinity map, two different personas were defined.
The needs and goals of the personas helped define decisions and to empathise with the user and their needs. From the research two different user flows, feature prioritisations and concept
maps were created
